Exciting times at Wellington Monument; the first of the Pyramidion stones, in our Chicksgrove limestone, have arrived onsite and SSH Conservation are hand tooling the finishing touches and starting to fix them into place. There will be thirty nine stones in total to form the Pyramidion and we've been kept busy processing them since we extracted the stone in early January.  It's a grand restoration projection on a grand scale!
