Lovell Stone Group is an established, growing family business that operates 5 quarries throughout the South West of England. The Group quarries and delivers high-quality bespoke British stone products to customers throughout the UK.

We are now looking to recruit a Stone Processor at our quarry in Langport, Somerset and a Stone Processor at our quarry in Purbeck, Dorset.

Monday – Friday.

Hourly rate of pay £9.30 rising to £9.80 per hour following successful probation period.

The position, Stone Processor, is one of a physical nature and applicant should be able to maneuver stone and tools in a satisfactory manor. Full training will be provided but an idea of natural stone identification and processing would be advantageous. Applicants will need to be able to follow work instructions and company health & safety procedures (including COVID-19 work safe protocols). The role will mainly consist in guillotining of natural stone into workable laying products. All tools and equipment are provided. Other duties may include driving of plant machines, general housekeeping, basic plant/machinery maintenance. Applicants will need to be able to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
