Lovell Stone Group Ltd announces the incorporation of Forest of Dean Stone Firms   

Forest of Dean Stone Firms, suppliers of Pennant Sandstone, has become part of the Lovell Stone Group family. Simon and James Hart have been involved in the business as minority shareholders since 2007 and, as of 26 November 2020, they are pleased to announce it is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Lovell Stone Group Ltd.

Forest of Dean Stone Firms will continue to operate as normal; offering customers the full range of high quality Pennant Sandstone products and excellent customer service. It will be managed as a separate business and brand under the umbrella of Lovell Stone Group Ltd.  Nicholas Horton, the Managing Director, will step down once the transfer is complete and key Forest of Dean personnel will remain unchanged, ensuring a seamless transition of the business.

Sales Director, James Hart commented; “This is a really exciting opportunity for us – it adds to our existing quarry portfolio and gives us a source of sustainable British Sandstone paving for use in Public Realm projects. Additionally, our expertise and knowledge in Lovell Stone Group will allow us to develop the Pennant building stone and masonry product range within Forest of Dean Stone Firms”
